“A year in the making and my first album in eight years, this project is well overdue.” He’s not wrong, and even before I played the disc was enormously impressed by the presentation – it is a very professional piece of work indeed. T he album’s title track is the well-known Everly Brothers number, sung by Dan to dulcimer accompaniment, a track lots of people are going to like a lot. This is what I call a Sunday morning album; gentle music to play quietly with the back door open to the garden, the kettle and toast on, all well with the world.
